Ace-Merit, LLC was founded in 1966 as a small court reporting firm with a handful of reporters. In 1971, Ace-Merit, LLC opened one of the first legal media departments in the country utilizing the new video medium and filmed the first deposition east of the Mississippi.

Today, Ace-Merit, LLC has 18 stenographers, most with advanced certification, and an acclaimed video department with three full-time certified videographers. As in the past, Ace-Merit, LLC employs cutting edge technology in both the stenographic and video departments.
